Target Information
MSH3는 DNA 복제 후 불일치 복구 시스템(MMR)의 구성 요소로, MSH2와 이합체(MutS beta)를 형성하여 DNA 불일치를 인식하고 복구를 개시합니다. MutS beta는 결합 시 DNA 나선을 굽히며 약 20개의 염기쌍을 보호합니다. 또한 최대 13개의 뉴클레오타이드 길이의 삽입-결실 루프(IDL)를 인식합니다. 불일치 결합 후 MutL alpha 이합체와 삼중 복합체를 형성하여 가닥 구별, 절제, 재합성 등의 후속 MMR 과정을 유도합니다.
