Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
PD-1 (also known as PDCD-1) is expressed on activated T cells and mediates inhibitory signals upon binding to its ligands, PDL-1 and PDL-2.
This interaction downregulates immune responses in the absence of danger signals such as LPS.
PD-1 deficiency in mice leads to hyperactivated immune systems and autoimmune diseases.
Although PD-1 has a predicted molecular weight, it often migrates at a higher molecular weight in SDS-PAGE.
