Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships lyophilized at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g for 5 min).

Target Information

IGF1R (Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 Receptor) is a receptor tyrosine kinase activated by IGF-1 and IGF-2, implicated in various cancers.
The protein is a tetramer of two alpha and two beta subunits.
Alpha-subunits bind IGF-1 with higher affinity than IGF-2, inducing conformational change and autophosphorylation at residues 1134, 1135, and 1136.
Activated IGF1R phosphorylates substrate proteins, triggering sequential activation of RAS, RAF, and MAPK isoforms (ERK, p38, JNK), leading to gene transcription and cell proliferation.
