DDX1 (ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX1)는 ATP 의존적 RNA 헬리케이스로, RNA-RNA 및 RNA-DNA 이중가닥을 풀 수 있습니다. 다양한 RNA에 대해 ATPase 활성을 가지며, RELA와 함께 NF-kappa-B 매개 전사 활성화를 촉진하는 공동활성인자로 작용합니다. 또한 cyclin CCND2 발현의 양성 전사 조절자로 작용하며, cyclin CCND2 프로모터 영역에 결합합니다. DDX1은 다중 헬리케이스-TICAM1 복합체의 구성 요소로, 바이러스 이중가닥 RNA의 세포질 감지자로 기능하며 TICAM1을 통한 항바이러스 반응 및 염증성 사이토카인 유도에 관여합니다.
