Target Information
RPS6KA3 (RSK2) is a serine/threonine kinase that modulates cellular processes including transcription, adhesion, growth, survival, and proliferation.
It contains two non-identical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates substrates in the MAPK signaling pathway.
Its activity is involved in controlling cell growth and differentiation. Mutations in RPS6KA3 are associated with Coffin-Lowry syndrome (CLS).
