Product Specific Information
- Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration.
- Restore with deionized water (or equivalent).
- Stable at 4°C as undiluted liquid; dilute only prior to immediate use.
- Centrifuge if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
- Do not freeze after reconstitution.
- Store reagent in the dark; use subdued lighting during handling and incubation of cells prior to analysis.
Assay Result:
Immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Phycoerythrin, anti-Goat Serum, and Biotinylated IgG.
No reaction observed against anti-Pepsin or anti-Goat IgG F(c).
Target Information
Biotin is a water-soluble B complex vitamin (Vitamin B7).
It is required by all organisms and synthesized only by bacteria, yeasts, molds, algae, and some plants.
Biotin participates in carbon dioxide incorporation into organic compounds and has a molecular weight of approximately 244 Da.
