Target Information
C4 is a component of the classical complement pathway and is split by activated C1s into C4a and C4b. Together, C2a and C4b form the classical C3 convertase.
The molecular mass of C4 is approximately 204 kDa and it consists of three subunits: α (97 kDa), β (75 kDa), and γ (33 kDa).
