For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Mucin glycoprotein is a Sialyl Lewis A structure synthesized from type 1 blood group precursor chains, present in individuals expressing Lewis A and/or Lewis B antigens.
In normal tissues, sialyl Lewis A antigen is found in ductal epithelium of the breast, kidney, salivary gland, and sweat glands.
Its expression increases significantly in serum and tumor cells of gastrointestinal carcinomas, including adenocarcinomas of the stomach, intestine, and pancreas.
Elevated CA19-9 levels in stage I pancreatic carcinoma patients typically return to normal after surgery.
Serial CA19-9 measurements can predict disease recurrence before radiographic or clinical detection.
