Product Specific Information
Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration. For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. Stable for several weeks at 4°C as undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
This antibody is directed against the FLAG™ epitope tag and is useful for detecting FLAG-tagged proteins in various assays. It recognizes the FLAG™ epitope (Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys) fused to either the amino or carboxy termini of target proteins.
Target Information
DYKDDDDK (FLAG) tag is an eight amino acid peptide used as a protein tag for purification, detection, and localization. It can be fused to N- or C-terminus of proteins, enabling identification and isolation using anti-FLAG antibodies. The FLAG tag is hydrophilic and less likely to denature or inactivate proteins compared to other tags. Widely used in molecular biology and biochemistry research for protein-protein interaction, expression, and localization studies.
