Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Androgen receptor (AR) coactivator ARA70, also designated NCOA4, RFG, and ELE1, is a co-activator that specifically enhances androgen receptor activity.
In human thyroid carcinomas, the Ret proto-oncogene fuses to ARA70 to form Ret/PTC3 via intrachromosomal inversion.
ARA70 exists as two isoforms:
- ARA70a – widely expressed, highest in testis and adipose tissues
- ARA70b – expressed solely in testis
ARA70a functions as a ligand-enhanced co-activator of PPARγ in adipocytes and may be involved in prostate and ovarian carcinogenesis, mediating estrogen-androgen synergism.
