Target Information
Themis is a cytoplasmic protein essential for positive selection and the development of single-positive thymocytes.
It is highly expressed in CD4+CD8+ double-positive thymocytes, with lower levels in mature T cells.
Themis associates with PLCγ1 and LAT, and is phosphorylated by SLP-76 following TCR signaling.
Five isoforms of mouse Themis are produced through alternative splicing.
