Target Information
FBXL11 (also known as KDM2A) is a member of the F-box protein family, characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid F-box motif. These proteins form part of the SCF (SKP1-cullin-F-box) ubiquitin ligase complex. F-box proteins are divided into three classes:
- Fbws: containing WD-40 domains
- Fbls: containing leucine-rich repeats
- Fbxs: containing other protein–protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs
FBXL11 belongs to the Fbls class and includes an F-box domain and at least six highly degenerated leucine-rich repeats.
