Target Information
PLC-XD2 (PI-PLC X domain-containing protein 2) is a 305 amino acid protein containing the PI-PLC X (X-box) domain, which is conserved from prokaryotes to mammals and essential for catalytic activity in PLC proteins. The gene encoding PLC-XD2 is located on human chromosome 3, associated with chemokine receptor gene clusters and cancer-related loci. Two isoforms exist due to alternative splicing.
