Target Information
MIG, also known as CXCL9, is a T-cell chemoattractant inducible by gamma interferon and part of the CXC chemokine family. This gene is mapped to chromosome 4q21. CXCL9 plays roles in T-cell activation, angiogenesis, and HIV infection. Unlike most CXC chemokines that attract neutrophils, MIG and INP10 are chemotactic for lymphocytes and inactive for neutrophils.
