Amino Acid Sequence of Recombinant Protein:

Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine MIP-1alpha (CCL3). Anti-Murine MIP-1alpha (CCL3)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Murine MIP-1alpha (CCL3) by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well antibody solution), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When used with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine MIP-1alpha (CCL3) (500-P121) as a capture antibody, it allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant protein.

Western Blot:
To detect Murine MIP-1alpha by Western blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Detection limit for recombinant protein is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

MIP-1alpha and MIP-1beta are structurally and functionally related CC chemokines involved in host responses to bacterial, viral, parasitic, and fungal pathogens. They regulate trafficking and activation of inflammatory cells such as macrophages, lymphocytes, and NK cells.
MIP-1alpha selectively attracts CD8+ lymphocytes, while MIP-1beta attracts CD4+ lymphocytes. Both are potent chemoattractants for B cells, eosinophils, and dendritic cells, and are active on both human and murine hematopoietic cells.
