Target Information
Adenylate kinase family의 효소를 암호화하는 유전자로, 해당 단백질은 미토콘드리아 기질에 위치합니다. Adenylate kinase는 뉴클레오타이드 간의 인산기 전이 반응을 촉매하여 세포 내 adenine 및 guanine 뉴클레오타이드 조성을 조절합니다. 척추동물에서는 다섯 가지 이소효소가 확인되었으며, 이들의 발현은 조직 특이적이고 발달 단계에 따라 조절됩니다. 이 유전자의 pseudogene은 염색체 17에 위치하며, NM_013410, NM_203464, NM_001005353으로 정의되는 세 가지 전사 변이체가 알려져 있습니다. 이 유전자는 염색체 1에 위치합니다.
