• In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Integrin alpha M is observed.
• Less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Integrin alpha 5 and Integrin alpha E is observed.
• Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Target Information

CD49b (Integrin alpha 2, Integrin alpha 2 chain, VLA-2 alpha chain, HM alpha 2)은 integrin 패밀리의 구성원입니다.
150 kDa의 당단백질로, CD29 (Integrin beta 1)과 복합체를 형성하여 heterodimeric integrin VLA-2 (integrin alpha 2 beta 1, 또는 GPIa/IIa) 복합체를 이룹니다.
VLA-2는 laminin, collagen, fibronectin의 세포외 수용체로 작용하며, 리간드 결합 시 세포 내 신호 전달 경로를 활성화합니다.
VEGF 유도 혈관신생, 세포 부착 및 림프구 활성화에 관여하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
CD49b는 NK 세포, NK-T 세포, 단핵구, 혈소판, 상피세포에서 발현되며, 적응면역세포인 T 및 B 세포의 일부 하위집단에서도 발현됩니다.
특히 비장 내 CD4+ T 세포, 장 상피 내 및 고유층 림프구, 그리고 LAG-3를 함께 발현하는 말초 CD4+ type 1 조절 T 세포(Tr1)에서 관찰됩니다.
