Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry on PFA-fixed tissues: incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Formalin-fixed tissues require heating sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
CD45RB is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase and a CD45 glycoprotein isoform.
CD45 plays a crucial role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling by regulating Src-family kinases. It promotes cell survival through integrin-mediated signal transduction and participates in DNA fragmentation during apoptosis.
Different CD45 isoforms vary in extracellular domains and expression patterns depending on cell type and physiological state. CD45RB is expressed in microglia and inflammatory cells.
CD45 is expressed on cells of the human hematopoietic lineage, excluding mature red blood cells.
