Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human ApoA-I. Anti-Human ApoA-I-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human ApoA-I by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When used with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human ApoA-I (500-P331) as a capture antibody, it enables detection of 2000–4000 pg/mL of Recombinant Human ApoA-I.

Western Blot:
For detection of Human ApoA-I by Western Blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL of this antibody. With compatible detection reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human ApoA-I is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Apolipoprotein A-1 (ApoA-I) is the major protein component of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) in human plasma. The molecular mass is approximately 24 kDa. ApoA-I acts as a cofactor for enzymes involved in cholesterol metabolism and is primarily produced in the liver. Typical plasma concentration is 270–380 mg/100 mL.
