Target Information

P504S/AMACR (α-Methylacyl-CoA Racemase)는 가지사슬 지방산의 β-산화 과정에서 필수적인 효소입니다. P504S 단백질은 면역조직화학 염색 시 파라핀 포매된 조직에서 전립선 선암종(prostatic adenocarcinoma)에 높은 발현을 보이며, 양성 전립선 조직에서는 발현되지 않습니다. 또한 전립선의 두 가지 전암성 병변인 고등급 전립선 상피내종양(PIN)과 비정형 선종성 과형성에서도 발현이 관찰됩니다.
