Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed):
Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
For formalin-fixed tissues, heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Neurofilaments are intermediate filament proteins specific to neurons, composed mainly of NF-L, NF-M, and NF-H. These proteins are critical for maintaining neuronal caliber and axonal structure. NF-H plays an important role in mature axons and is implicated in neurodegenerative diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
