Bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK)는 SRC 관련 TEC 하위 패밀리에 속하는 세포질 티로신 키나아제로, 인간 B세포 발달 차단 및 면역결핍 질환과 관련된 BTK 유전자 변이와 연관되어 있습니다.
BTK는 TLR4, 6, 8, 9 등 톨유사수용체(TLR) 계열 단백질과 상호작용하며, 선천 및 적응 면역 반응에서 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 MyD88, TIRAP, IRAK와 같은 TLR4 신호전달 관련 단백질과 상호작용하지만 TRAF-6과는 상호작용하지 않아, BTK가 LPS 신호전달에 관여함을 시사합니다.
