Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody 25F9 recognizes a protein expressed on mature macrophages, both on the cell surface and within intracellular vesicular structures. Expression correlates with endocytic macrophages and is useful in various disease models. It is not expressed on immature macrophages, monocytes, or other hematopoietic cells.
- Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
- Applications Tested: Tested on cultured human macrophages. Recommended use ≤ 0.25 µg per test (100 µL final volume).
- Cell number: Typically 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test (empirically determined).
- Optimization: Antibody should be titrated for best performance.
