Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, 100% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-28A/IFN-lambda 2 is observed.
- No cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-28A or IL-29.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
IL28 is a cytokine distantly related to type I interferons and the IL-10 family. The interleukin 28B (IL28B) and interleukin 29 (IL29) genes form a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 19q13. Expression of these cytokines is induced by viral infection, and all three interact with a heterodimeric class II cytokine receptor composed of IL10RB and IL28RA.
