Mammaglobin은 정상 유방 상피세포와 인간 유방암에서 거의 특이적으로 발현되는 유전자입니다. Secretoglobin 유전자 패밀리에 속하며 Lipophilin B와 이합체를 형성합니다. Mammaglobin은 유방암 연구에서 유용한 마커로 제안되었으며, RT-PCR을 이용한 순환 암세포의 mRNA 검출 연구에서 높은 특이성을 보여 림프절 전이 등 예후 인자와 상관관계를 나타냅니다.
