Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine Eotaxin (CCL11). Anti-Murine Eotaxin (CCL11)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect mEotaxin by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine Eotaxin (500-P67) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant mEotaxin.

Western Blot:
To detect mEotaxin by Western Blot analysis, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. In conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant mEotaxin is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

This gene belongs to the Cys-Cys (CC) cytokine family clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. CC cytokines are secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The cytokine encoded by this gene shows chemotactic activity for eosinophils, but not for mononuclear cells or neutrophils. It is associated with eosinophilic inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, asthma, and parasitic infections.
