Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine G-CSF. Anti-Murine G-CSF-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect mG-CSF by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well antibody solution), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When combined with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine G-CSF (500-P69) as the capture antibody, at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant mG-CSF can be detected.

Western Blot:
For detection of mG-CSF by Western blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL of this antibody. With compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant mG-CSF is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under both reducing and non-reducing conditions.

G-CSF (Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor)
G-CSF is a naturally occurring cytokine that promotes production and antibacterial activity of neutrophils and monocytes. The human form is an 18.8 kDa protein with 175 amino acids. It is produced by monocytes, macrophages, endothelial cells, fibroblasts, astrocytes, osteoblasts, and bone marrow cells.
G-CSF influences proliferation, differentiation, and activation of hematopoietic cells and is expressed in various carcinoma and leukemia cell lines. It is encoded by two distinct DNA sequences, producing high- and low-activity isoforms.
Clinically, G-CSF is used in treatments for infections, myocardial infarction, neutropenia, sepsis, autoimmune disorders, and certain leukemias. It is also a biomarker for carcinomas and associated with Kostmann Syndrome.
