Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody 11A8.7.4 reacts to DNAM-1 (CD226). DNAM-1 is a 65 kD receptor expressed by peripheral blood T lymphocytes and is involved in intercellular adhesion, lymphocyte signaling, cytotoxicity, and lymphokine secretion mediated by cytotoxic T lymphocytes. It is broadly expressed on T cells, NK cells, platelets, monocytes, and a subset of B cells, as well as a subset of CD3-positive thymocytes.
Ligands for CD226 include PVR (CD155) and PPR2 (Nectin-2, CD112). CD226 is involved in cytolytic activity through interactions with integrins and activation of protein tyrosine kinase Fyn.

The 11A8.7.4 antibody has been shown to increase T and NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity.

  for up to 3 days in the dark at 4°C with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.
