Phosphatidylinositol second messenger system에 의해 활성화되며, receptor tyrosine kinases 또는 G-protein coupled receptors에 의해 조절됩니다.
Intracellular calcium store depletion에 의해 활성화될 수 있으며, ITPR3와 상호작용합니다.
