For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CLEC4M is a type II integral membrane protein, sharing 77% identity with the CD209 antigen (HIV gp120-binding protein).
Like CD209, CLEC4M efficiently binds ICAM3 and HIV-1 gp120, enhancing HIV-1 infection of T cells.
Western blot analyses using two distinct antibodies against separate regions confirmed consistent molecular weight.
The CLEC4M gene is located on chromosome 19p13.3, clustered with CD209 and CD23/FCER2 genes.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, though not all have confirmed biological relevance.
