Target Information
Dentin matrix acidic phosphoprotein (DMP1)는 extracellular matrix protein으로, small integrin binding ligand N-linked glycoprotein(SIBLING) family에 속합니다. 이 단백질은 골 및 치아 조직의 다양한 세포에서 발현되며, 뼈와 상아질의 정상적인 무기질화에 필수적입니다. 다수의 산성 도메인, 다중 인산화 부위, RGD cell attachment sequence, DNA 결합 도메인을 포함합니다.
미분화된 osteoblast에서는 핵 내에서 osteoblast 특이 유전자 발현을 조절하며, 성숙 과정에서 인산화되어 extracellular matrix로 이동하여 무기질화된 기질 형성을 조절합니다. DMP1 유전자 변이는 상염색체 열성 저인산혈증을 유발하며, 이는 구루병 및 골연화증으로 나타납니다. 포유류에서 유전자 구조가 보존되어 있으며, 두 가지 전사체 변형이 보고되었습니다.
