Target Information
Sin1은 S. pombe의 SIN1과 상동적인 인간 단백질로 처음 확인되었습니다. 이후 연구에서 Mip1으로도 알려져 있으며, MEKK2와 상호작용하는 단백질입니다. MAPKAP1은 MEKK2의 활성화와 이합체화를 억제하여 JNK1/2, ERK1/2, p38, ERK5 MAPKs의 활성을 차단하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한 TOR 신호 전달 과정에 관여하며, 세포 성장과 증식 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. MAPKAP1은 TOR/rictor 복합체의 유지에 기여하나 TOR/RAPTOR 복합체에는 영향을 주지 않으며, Akt 인산화를 유도합니다. 여러 가지 대체 스플라이싱된 MAPKAP1 아이소폼이 보고되었습니다.
