Target Information
CYP2B6 유전자는 cytochrome P450 초과가족의 효소를 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 약물 대사 및 콜레스테롤, 스테로이드, 기타 지질 합성에 관여하는 monooxygenase로 작용합니다. Endoplasmic reticulum에 위치하며 phenobarbital에 의해 발현이 유도됩니다. Cyclophosphamide 및 Ifosphamide와 같은 항암제 대사에 관여하며, CYP2B7이라는 유사유전자와 관련된 전사 변이체가 보고되었습니다. 두 유전자는 chromosome 19q의 CYP2A, CYP2B, CYP2F subfamily cluster 내에 존재합니다.
