Target Information
Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD)는 세포질 효소로, NADPH 생성에 관여하며 산화 스트레스 방어 및 환원 생합성 반응에 필수적인 역할을 한다. X-염색체에 위치한 housekeeping gene으로 다양한 변이형이 존재하며, 효소 활성도와 임상 증상이 다양하다. G6PD 결핍은 신생아 황달, 급성 용혈, 만성 비구형성 용혈성 빈혈 등을 유발할 수 있다. 두 가지 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있다.
