Product Specific Information
This antibody detects a 130 kDa protein corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of mDia3 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of human Jurkat treated with calyculin A. Reactivity is lost after lambda phosphatase treatment. The antibody may also detect phosphorylated mDia1/Diap1 (Ser-171) and mDia2/Diap3 (Ser-202).
Target Information
The DIAPH2 gene encodes a member of the diaphanous subfamily of the formin homology family of proteins. It may play a role in ovarian development and function. Mutations in this gene are associated with premature ovarian failure 2. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
