Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step.

Target Information
Beta actin is one of six actin isoforms identified in humans. It is a non-muscle cytoskeletal protein expressed in all human cell types, involved in cell motility, structure, and integrity.
The beta and gamma actin isoforms coexist in most cell types as cytoskeletal components. Beta actins are ubiquitously expressed cytoplasmic proteins in eukaryotic cells.
Polymerization of globular actin (G-actin) forms filamentous actin (F-actin) as a two-stranded helix.
Because beta actin is universally expressed, it is frequently used as a loading control in protein detection assays such as Western blotting.
Antibodies to beta-actin are valuable tools for studying intracellular distribution and the dynamic aspects of the cytoskeleton.
