Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The KLF11 gene encodes a zinc finger transcription factor that binds SP1-like sequences in epsilon- and gamma-globin gene promoters. This binding inhibits cell growth and induces apoptosis.
Mutations in this gene are associated with maturity-onset diabetes of the young type 7 (MODY7).
Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been identified.
