Mouse anti-Human CD314 antibody, clone 1D11, recognizes CD314 (NKG2D), also known as killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily K, member 1 (KLRK1).
CD314 is a C-type lectin-like activating receptor expressed on most NK cells, CD8 T cells, and γδ T cells.
Target Information
Natural killer (NK) cells are lymphocytes that mediate lysis of certain tumor and virus-infected cells without prior activation.
They regulate humoral and cell-mediated immunity and express several calcium-dependent (C-type) lectins involved in NK cell function regulation.
The NKG2 gene family encodes type II transmembrane proteins with C-type lectin domains, located within the NK complex region containing multiple NK-specific lectin genes.
