Target Information
Arginase는 아르기닌을 오르니틴과 요소로 가수분해하는 효소입니다. 포유류에는 두 가지 아이소폼(type I 및 II)이 존재하며, 조직 분포, 세포 내 위치, 면역학적 교차반응성 및 생리적 기능이 다릅니다. Type II 아이소폼은 미토콘드리아에 위치하며, 간 외 조직(특히 신장)에서 발현됩니다. 이 아이소폼은 nitric oxide 및 polyamine 대사에 관여하는 것으로 추정됩니다. 대체 polyadenylation 부위의 사용으로 인한 전사 변이체도 보고되었습니다.
