MA1-846 detects PRC1 from human, mouse, and rat samples.
MA1-846 has been successfully used in Western blot, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence procedures.
The MA1-846 immunogen is recombinant PRC1 protein.
Target Information
This gene encodes a protein involved in cytokinesis. The protein is highly expressed during the S and G2/M phases of mitosis but decreases when the cell enters G1 phase.
It is located in the nucleus during interphase, associates dynamically with mitotic spindles during mitosis, and localizes to the cell mid-body during cytokinesis.
This protein is a substrate of several cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) and is essential for polarizing microtubules and organizing contractile ring assembly.
