Product Specific Information
In direct ELISAs and Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-17D, recombinant mouse IL-17, IL-17B, IL-17C, IL-17E, or IL-17F is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine sharing sequence similarity with IL17. Treatment of endothelial cells with this cytokine stimulates production of other cytokines including IL6, IL8, and CSF2 (GM-CSF). The increased expression of IL8 induced by this cytokine is NF-kappa B-dependent.
