Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Adenylate kinases regulate the adenine nucleotide composition within cells by catalyzing the reversible transfer of phosphate groups among adenine nucleotides.
Three isozymes (AK1, AK2, AK3) have been identified in vertebrates. This gene encodes isozyme 2, which is localized in the mitochondrial intermembrane space and may play a role in apoptosis.
Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
