Product Specific Information
Reconstitution:
25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on the sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, prepare small aliquots and store at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
FPR1 (Formyl Peptide Receptor 1) is a member of chemoattractant/chemokine GPCRs expressed mainly on leukocytes, neutrophils, and monocytes.
It is a seven-transmembrane, pertussis toxin-sensitive GPCR that binds formylated peptides generated by bacteria, leading to leukocyte trafficking to sites of inflammation.
Ligand binding activates multiple effectors, including phospholipase C, resulting in calcium mobilization and PKC activation.
FPR signaling influences actin cytoskeleton polarization, integrin activation, cell migration, phagocytosis, degranulation, and reactive oxygen intermediate release.
