For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step.
Recommended desalting column: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
GATA4 is a member of the GATA family of zinc-finger transcription factors. These proteins recognize the GATA motif present in many gene promoters and regulate genes involved in embryogenesis, myocardial differentiation, and cardiac function.
Mutations in the GATA4 gene are associated with cardiac septal defects.
