Product Specific Information

The MBSA43 monoclonal antibody reacts with human TIGIT (T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains), also known as VSTM3 or WUCAM. This 26 kDa protein belongs to the poliovirus receptor (PVR) family and is expressed on NK cells, regulatory T cells, follicular T helper cells, memory CD4+ T cells, and CD8+ T cells, but not on B cells or naive CD4+ T cells. Expression may be upregulated upon activation.

MBSA43 is reported to cross-react with Rhesus macaque.

Applications Tested: Pre-titrated for use at 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test. One test = antibody amount sufficient for 100 µL final volume. Suitable for 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Target Information

TIGIT binds with high affinity to the poliovirus receptor (PVR), leading to increased IL10 secretion and decreased IL12B secretion, thereby suppressing T cell activation and promoting the generation of mature immunoregulatory dendritic cells.
