Product Specific Information

The 7E.17G9 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse ICOS (Inducible COStimulatory molecule), a T cell-specific molecule and a third member of the CD28/CTLA-4 family. ICOS is expressed on activated T cells, functions as a homodimer (47–57 kDa), and is essential for T cell activation, proliferation, and humoral immune response. It binds to its ligand B7h/B7RP-1 on activated APCs, including B cells, and may play a protective role in inflammatory autoimmune diseases and Th2 cell development.

Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimize antibody titration for best performance.

Fluorochrome Information:
Super Bright 645 is a tandem dye excited by the violet laser line (405 nm) and emits at 645 nm. Recommended filter: 660/20 bandpass. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Staining Recommendations:
When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to reduce non-specific polymer interactions.

Light Sensitivity: Protect vial and stained samples from light to prevent photo-induced oxidation.

Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using:

• IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222)
• 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333)
