For maximum recovery, please spin prior to use. Unless noted below, aliquots of the 5 µg, 10 µg, and 20 µg sizes of kinase are not recommended as materials can be used in original packaging until exhausted.
For larger sizes, reduce freeze/thaw cycles by preparing aliquots (below 20 µL not recommended).
Never store kinase diluted.
If properly stored at -80°C, this product is guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase.

MAPK8 (JNK1) is activated by misfolded proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum and is a crucial mediator of insulin resistance and obesity.
It belongs to the MAPK superfamily of stress-activated protein kinases, which are serine-threonine kinases activated by various extracellular stimuli.
JNK mediates signal transduction from the cell surface to the nucleus and participates in cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation, and development.
JNK pathways are activated by stress and inflammatory signals.
JNK is expressed as ten different isoforms due to differential mRNA splicing, with JNK1 and JNK2 being predominant.
