Product Specific Information
This antibody reacts with an unknown epitope. It does not react with a variety of resting, activated, live, and fixed mouse, rat, and human tissues.
MA1-193-D650 can be used as a negative control in any immunoassay where a DyLight 650-conjugated primary antibody of the mouse IgG2a isotype is used.
DyLight 650 has an excitation/emission of 652/672 nm.
Target Information
Mouse IgG2a is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the second most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response.
Composed of two heavy and two light chains, Mouse IgG2a is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
It also regulates immune responses, including T cell activation and inhibition of B cell activation.
Widely used in research and diagnostic applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic studies like immunotherapy and vaccine development.
