Target Information
STAT5 단백질은 STAT 전사인자 패밀리에 속하며, 사이토카인 및 성장인자 자극에 의해 수용체 관련 키나아제에 의해 인산화됩니다. 인산화된 STAT 단백질은 핵으로 이동하여 전사 활성인자로 작용합니다.
이 단백질은 IL-2, IL-3, IL-7, GM-CSF, erythropoietin, thrombopoietin 및 다양한 성장호르몬 신호전달에 관여합니다.
TEL/JAK2 유전자 융합과 관련된 골수종 및 림프종에서의 STAT5 활성은 자극과 무관하게 일어나며, 종양 형성에 필수적인 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
마우스 STAT5는 BCL2L1/BCL-X(L) 발현을 유도하여 항아폽토시스 기능을 수행하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
