Target Information
NTRK3 (TRKC) belongs to the neurotrophic factor family essential for development and maintenance of the mammalian nervous system. Known substrates include SHC, PI-3 kinase, and PLCG1. Isoforms have distinct signaling properties and are mainly expressed in nervous tissue. Isoform B is more abundant in adult brain than fetal brain. TRKC undergoes ligand-mediated auto-phosphorylation and contains two immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains and two leucine-rich repeats (LRR).
